The first definition of love on google is; a strong positive emotion of regard and affection.
But love is undefinable. However, as we all probably would agree, love is a strong tool. In fact, I think one of the things that defines love is that we are unable of defining it properly. Love is not merely an emotion. It is more. Love is more.
Love is what makes mothers lift cars to save their children in sudden adrenaline rushes. Love is what we read about in classics such as Romeo & Juliet, or Tristan & Isolde, but it is also what we can experience on a daily basis. A smile, a gesture. Love can be found in friendships and between couples. Love can be towards objects, actions, places, you name it! Love is something we all can identify with, and if we have not felt it, it is something we strive for. Love can be both eternal and short-term.
But in simplified terms, love is more, and it is strong enough to influence the way we act. Love is in that sense somewhat like a director, or a composer.
