What would I be without the films on a day like this. Having a fever let me rewatch the two first movies yesterday. Guess what I'm about to do today? Don't get me wrong - this headache is killing me, and I'm literally trying all kinds of pills to get it to stop, but watching a childhood classic is really comforting!

Welcome home
Welcome Home - Radical Face
I'm home. It's so weird. I've grown accustomed to all the little quirks tied to living in Glasgow - I want to thank my busdriver when I leave the bus, I want to step onto the first subway that rolls into the platform without checking where it's going (because in Glasgow there is only one direction per platform), I prepare for pain in my ears when about to cross the street because the street lights make high pitch noises when you can pass. I want to speak English with everyone I meet. I feel different. And it's not only because of these little quirky things I've gotten used to. No, it's because I feel more ready to take decisions that might affect my future in more and less pleasing ways. It all seems more clear to me - what I should prioritise or not. So all in all, Glasgow - it's been a good year, and now I'm home but I think that things might start to change now.
I can feel it - this little girl is growing up

I once was lost, but now I'm found
"I want a picture with all my favourite people!"
Lovely statements are always made when under the influence of alcohol. Yesterday was great, but after having sang "Amazing Grace" at the pub, I got quite "after-shaky" and so we decided to shot the nerves away. After that the night became quite interesting. Anyways, as always, I had a blast performing despite dying from nerves making me play the wrong chords and even giggle at one point. Apparently according to this crowd, my voice is similar to Zooey Deschanel's. I remembered her from 500 Days of Summer, but couldn't recollect any memories of her singing, so this is what "the youtube" taught me:
Love Hurts - Zooey Deschanel & Sasha Spielberg (Cover)
I don't think I'd agree, but I am really quite flattered - her voice is so unique!

That's life
What's better than starting off a hungover morning eating something healthy and watching episodes of the tv-series you're following? I did attend a musical class when younger, so I do have an inclination not to mind musicals all that much, although they're quite a handful sometimes. Glee is, for me, one of those forums where the musical theme becomes too much. This is more my kind of soup:
That's Life - Ivy and Karen (Smash Cover)
Speaking of which - I'm singing tonight at the pub right next to my accomodation - open mic night again as I don't have any of my own material yet... Gotta do something about that. Anyways, I am way nervous because it's not really the same as singing at the university. Feels more terrifying outside of campus grounds.
