... and surely, we'll never die

Dreamland - Bob Marley

Feels like anything's possible. My head aches a great deal for example. Hehe, nah, but the thing is that out of 45 hours I got two hours of sleep yesterday, I actually went to bed at 8 in the morning today, and then I got up around 16 so... Life's good. I'd been writing a major essay called "Project Work" on whether grades are good or not. And on that I will be graded. Pretty ironic actually.. Well, and then I also managed to squeeze in 2 hours of studying to prepare a psychology presentation.os hs

This I wrote on Tuesday this week.. luckily it was a draft, but I actually remember having published it... Guess it wouldn't have made much sense. I was pretty tired I think. Just thought I'd publish it still, as the song is really worth it!

I've just had the craziest week

Well, it might not have been the best week ever considering that I've managed to loose not only my cell phone, but also my glasses and other less important, but still wanted objects, as well as having slept extremely bad. Three days in a row I have however been given the opportunity to speak to a few strangers. It hasn't been any longer conversations, but nevertheless those moments always manage to make me a little bit happier. So I am!

Moving to New York - the Wombats

Both Wednesday's and yesterday's conversations were with friends of friends, but today a complete stranger took the liberty to exchange a few words with me. It was an Italian technologist who apparently must have thought I looked like a person who had a clue. He was wrong. I didn't have a clue - about which station you were supposed to get off at to ski. Ski?! In the middle of Stockholm - my one and only true home throughout the years!? Would we have famous skiing routes? I was majorly confused. Luckily for me, we managed to steer the conversation elsewhere and as we got off at the same station he got some help with orientating himself to the nearest skiing route.

We all have our horrors and our demons to fight. But how can I win, when I'm paralyzed?

I have had a horrible horrible day, I can't even begin to describe it. It's just been plain bullshit from the start. And I cannot help to wonder..  Is this the new Friday the 13th? Or do we all have days of horror specially dedicated to us? Is Monday the 21st mine..? It doesn't sound too neat.

To give you an example I could start by saying that I spent about 3 hours stressing around the house, the road leading toward the underground, and the actual underground searching for my bloody cell phone, just enough time for me to miss 3 classes in school and  for one of the teachers teaching those subjects to go "Ah, how wonderful that you made it here!" in French (he teaches Swedish and French) when I come hurrying down the hall toward Psychology. What annoys me in that scenario was not what he said as much as how he said it (a smug, cold, sarcastic tone).

Okay, I can feel myself boiling up again. There's a lot more to it, but I don't want to go into anything in detail, so I'll just leave you with a very aggro kind-of song. Don't listen to it if you don't like rock-metal-music, it just soothes my anger right now.

Greek

Okay, I know I know, I was supposed to study. But my master plan has now been altered and I will continue my not so very efficient studies tomorrow morning, seeing as I will not attend school tomorrow. After school today however I sat down for a cosy few hours trying to, and then came my favourite brother! He brought with him my requested noodles and ready-to-eat-chicken. Yum! I love how much we're (I am) trying to learn how to cook!

From this...

To mention one thing I actually CAN do, is to set the table. I was on my way to bring the porcelain plate to it, when I accidentally started jumping to the music and dropped it on the floor instead.

... to this!

We had a good laugh about it, but my plate-breaking virginity has now been stolen. I was saving myself to a Greek wedding I've been planning to attend for a while now. I don't know who would be the bride nor who would be the groom, but I was going to make sure I knew them well enough to receive an invitation. Now my plans are shattered just like our colourful plate!

My day - Last Nite

Okay. My day. This was a tough one. How do you put an entire day in one blog post? I will have to take away all the fun descriptive stuff and just go for the bite. Rawhr!

Haha okay, so I was planning on getting up fairly early (meaning 12.30-ish) and I ended up waking up around 14.00. Failed attempt! Next up was going to my mother's neighbourhood to pick up a parcel containing my "grown-up" cash card. Yesterday I also used it for the first time! I feel so mature!

I came home and ate some dinner with my brother, and shortly after left to meet with a friend on the tube. We were headed to a karaoke pub to meet up some friends. The place was however crowded and we left it around midnight I think. Some people sang Last Nite by the Strokes which was like. Respeeect! Iffie and I sat shouting along to it by the bar, it's soo good!

Last Nite - the Strokes (Actual Version)

Well, we left to go to this indie club; Baba Sonic, the queue was soo long that none of us felt triggered to stand there waiting to get in so we walked around in the snow for a while trying to find someplace else to go and my shoes were slowly but surely filled with water.

C, A and I left the guys at McDonald's and went so seek luck at another club with higher age limit. Again, the place was so crowded, that the original law of "pretty girls" didn't work on the guards. Finally, we ended up at a latino club; Mango Bar. We got to dance some, and that felt really nice! There were 2, and only 2 good looking figures at that place. One of which I danced with. But damn, was he bad at dancing! Quite off turning! Guys!      Learn to dance if you're going out, because a pretty face won't do! I also bumped into my DJ cousin and another familiar figure. Where else would they be on a wednesday night when this place was obviously quite vibrant and quite latino!

Wow, I can see how anyone reading this would be yawning by now. I can assure you I am almost finished now! Finally we left for the tube and whilst waiting for the right one to come C and I acquired the quote of the day by some random stranger. He asked whether I knew a pair of guys who saluted me and I said;

-Yes, they're my homeboys (Total lie, I didn't know them for shit)

- Oh, so you live with them?
Dopehead!

Well, finally, we got on the subway and a pair of guys started talking to us. As C left pretty early I was left alone with these people and it showed out they were actually really agreables. Lyckad dag!
