The room full of all my friends all dancing 'round and 'round, and I thought hello new shoes, bye bye blues

Yesterday I wore my new shoes for the first time. The new earth-coloured ones I bought in Glasgow. It felt like a fresh start, yet with people I really WANT to spend time with. "11 cm" was probably my most used word yesternight, and I do feel quite sorry for having overconsumed it, but you know, what the heck. It actually did feel like I was walking on needles and fire after the first hour.

New Shoes - Paolo Nutini

He's not actually holding my butt by the way, it's just an old joke..

 With my beautiful Italian <3

We went to Ambassadeur and I really liked it there. When I got home the silence was deafening which might tell something about the volume in the club, but as Ed said it really did feel like a real club so I was content. It was crowded, there were flashy lights and fresh cold blows of air puffing out from the scene when most needed, people were talkative and the dancefloor was completely crammed. The music (Sebjak and AN21) was also good even though house usually doesn't work for an entire night in my opinion as I'm more of a dancehall, salsa person.

Now I'm off to play some Nutini on my guitar (I'd really love to see him in Gothenburg at "Where the Action Is"...)

Pancakes Americains

Yesterday I visited C who is leaving for Korea today, South that is, but I'm guessing you got that already. It feels like this is just a tryout of what this autumn will feel like, when there is no Kungsholmen's Gymnasium waiting for you with it's general home-like feeling and all it's contents. Even if the building is still standing, the content will have left for adventures in different corners of this world, it's content will have a range of different purposes to fulfill. So I feel a little bit lost. And then there's my personal dilemma of whether I want to stick around in Sweden and maybe travel some and work some for a year, or whether I should attack the British Isles and out-charm the Scots in Glasgow this autumn ?

For all of these reasons it was therefore pretty nice to just feel normal and at home chilling with C and S. We decided to make American pancakes, which, even without lemon and vanilla tasted pretty nice. They actually make my mouth go all watery, but that is when I think of them alongside some vanilla ice cream and strawberries. Mmmh! Taste-explosion!! Speaking of which, for my Swedish visitors - try Magnum Temptation - it really tastes heavenly!

Symbolic meanings

I've wanted my tattoo for such a long time now, and for about 4 years now I have also known exactly what I want to ink my body with. Today Jess and I entered this geek-shop, randomly looking about in Old Town, and Jess found a heavy book about symbols and signs and different things. It only got me thinking more about my future tattoo. What kind of a feather do I want to go with my G-clef?

This is Ed Westwick's (also known as Chuck Bass) tattoo - I actually had no idea he had one before I googled it. It's a little too big for my taste, but heck. He's attractive still.

(PS. I do not own the rights of any of the pictures in this post, nor of any of the celeb-pictures on my blog)

"Native American wisdom relates to the feather as an embodiment of bird spirit. For example, eagle feathers had special meaning and were given to warriors as a tremendous honor of bravery and courage. It indicated nobility of the heart and allowed the recipient to take flight easily on journeying (both in a spiritual sense and a life-journey sense)." - "Also in the Native American Indian culture, feathers represented the power of the thunder gods, along with the power of air and wind."

"In dreams feathers mean travel or the ability to move more freely in life." - "A more expanded view of feather tattoos deal with thought, intellect and the higher mind."
