I don't want you, I need you

No Other Way - Paolo Nutini (live in London)

Okay, so I guess you might have understood that this blog is a lot about music or it contains a lot of music at least. The truth is that since music helps me a lot to "survive" (like when studying) or improve (like when partying) many situations I kind of count it as part of my everyday life, which most blogs are about, that's why I wouldn't want to call this a music blog, but rather maybe a music diary. When it comes to this particular song for example it got me in the mood for studying today, and regarding Nutini himself.. Well, "I don't want you, I need you" - and your music. So much feeling!

Next up;

Watching Hancock for the first time, with Jess. Only difference now is that I will be watching on one side of town, and she on the other - that's what happens when you live far off!

Well, I'm off to loose my virginity in both ways (Hancock and the way of watching it)

Too drunk to f'ck

Too drunk to fuck - Nouvelle Vague

New favourite? It works pretty well with my current studies...

I'm a big fish in a small pond

Evolution of Man - Q-Tip feat. Al Kapone

I'm quite busy these days, but I'll return when I can. Meanwhile, enjoy this song.. Nice mix of 50's and contemporary thinks I. They didn't manage to destroy the original song, which is of course a big plus.!

Where's my shirt?

WANTED!

I'd completely forgotten I had this shirt until I saw it on this ego-pic of mine (Yes, I do have ego-pictures, I'm only human!) whilst flipping through the album from my France-trip last year. I realised I wanted to put it on but when I searched for it now I couldn't find it. Oversized shirts is the shit, fo reals!

Je la deteste.

Nice music video
Te Quiero - Stromae

French is funny, I mean, their slang at the moment is changing the order of the letters of a word, like this guy for example. Stro-mae instead of Mae-stro. See? And the French word for party; Fê-te becomes
Te-fê. Not sure they actually spell it out like that though, but in spoken language it's like that.

I somehow wish we Swedes had some funny customs language-wise though, we just seem to be borrowing a lot of words from other languages instead, which in my respect feels kind of lame. Swedish just doesn't seem innovative enough.

The latter part of yesterday I spent first at my father's new girlfriend's place, having a very nice Middle-Eastern dish with couscous and meat of some kind followed by chocolate creams and tea. Yum!
After that I met up with my hybrid-friend Leonor and we danced the night away at the club Entourage in central Stockholm. I had never been into that club before, but I liked it, looked very neat indeed!
