Feminin Neck Tattoos & Edgar Allan Poe

What do neck tattoos, Poe and Inception have in common?
I love actress Evan Rachel Wood's idea of a neck tattoo, it's meaningful and therefore beautiful.

Take this kiss upon the brow!
And, in parting from you now,
Thus much let me avow-
You are not wrong, who deem
That my days have been a dream;
Yet if hope has flown away
In a night, or in a day,
In a vision, or in none,
Is it therefore the less gone?

'All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.'

I stand amid the roar
Of a surf-tormented shore,
And I hold within my hand
Grains of the golden sand-
How few! yet how they creep
Through my fingers to the deep,
While I weep- while I weep!
O God! can I not grasp
Them with a tighter clasp?
O God! can I not save
One from the pitiless wave?
Is all that we see or seem
But a dream within a dream?

- Edgar Allan Poe

'Know your rights'

Angelina Jolie's tattoo is not that bad either, I wouldn't mind someday making a neck tattoo myself as well.

The graduates

Yes, I know, it's Twilight, but it's a pretty darn good speech.
I know, it's been a lot about graduation lately, but I'm trying to keep myself triggered to study, which isn't exactly the easiest task in the world all the time. Now I'm gonna go to attack on the developmental psychology-studies!

The storm is coming, but I don't mind, all we can do is keep breathing now

An old classic that came to my mind as I was watching "the Perfect Storm", with the perfect man George Clooney.

Keep Breathing - Ingrid Michaelson

I've just been window(s)-shopping old microphones, they're so pretty! Funny how that's how I like spending my friday-night right? But honestly though, I've only done that for the past 20 - 25 minutes or so, so it's totally natural! Besides, just you look at them...

They're...

so darn...

pretty!

Little bitty pretty ones

Little Bitty Pretty One - Thurston Harris

All the pretty ladies...

Three years go past so quickly! Soon it's time to dress up for another graduation.

Yesterday I was out with the pretty lady in white, on a Wednesday yes, I'm aware of that, but my dear DJ/Producer cousin had a gig on a very famous nightclub in Stockholm (Berns) so it was worth taking a peek with some of my awesomest friends! On Saturday I'll be going out with the pretty lady on my other side, the one in yellow, and the lovey dovey L.We'll dance the night away again, nice break in between studies, I have to admit!

Classy

Now tell me.. what is there not to love about my class?

So please wont you tell me where the road will end, got me a bottle as my only friend...

Today I went to court. It was my first time there.. I'd stolen a few beers at a liquor store you know, I mean, what can I say, I was in Amy Winehouse-mode and felt I had to live a little. Okay no, but I went there to attend a trial concerning drunk driving and I got really empathic with the accused. He was declared guilty but got to go through a rehabiliation program for a few months instead of jail, as he had had troubles with drinking before.

I also went for an ice cream with a friend who told me something that I've thought a lot about since.
He said that you go from liking/loving to disliking/hating someone first when you know for sure that they can't be yours. The more I think about it, the more true it seems, it would actually explain a lot of stuff. People keep trying to get their "beloved" until they know it won't work at all, that is when they start seeing all the bad sides that come with the person in question as opposed to what the situation was like earlier when they were longing for all of those many good things the person brought with him/her.

Funny how our minds work!

Do you really want to live forever?

Forever Young - Youth Group

Better than the Alphaville version in my opinion, maybe it's just because I'm so OC-biased. It'd be fun to dare to sing something for my graduation...
