My faith

Okay, this one is fairly simple. I'm an agnostic, meaning that I cannot completely dismiss the existence of god, as I do not consider myself to have enough evidence to, but that I do not either believe in a god. My father should have been Catholic being from Chile, in fact, my grandmother was very close to becoming a nun at the age of 14 for some reason I have yet failed to discover. I guess I'm lucky she didn't, or I would most likely not be sitting here writing this right now.

Cool origami huh?

My mother probably should have been a Protestant, and my grandmother on that side of the family often visits church, but that is mostly because where she is from that is where all the action is. The singing and the coffee, the burials and the marriages. The gatherings in short. It is a quite small village as you might understand. I think she might have been a believer once upon a time.

So, I guess I should have been a Christian mix of some kind, but the odds were pretty low when both my parents decided they would not become what they should have. Rebellion runs in my blood it seems. If I could, I'd either adopt some indian belief. You know, Brother Bear-style. Or I'd become a Buddhist à la "My name is Earl". I think both those "religions" seem pretty decent and well-willing, and harmonic. I don't think I can explain it better than that. An important factor to my faith is however that I do respect religious people, as long as they respect people and environment themselves.
